Silhouettes, Channel 6 Lawrence, 2 episodes 1992
Two episodes of the local Lawrence, Kansas arts program Silhouettes which ran on Channel 6 for several years in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Features local artists and musicians. Episode one  from 1992 features The Jolly Ranchers, Ry Brown, Clark Jamison, and Tom Krause, with video art by Joel Sanderson. Episode two also from 1992 features musician Eileen Douglas, video art by Joel Sanderson, Kansas Folklore in Motion by the Prairie Wind Dancers with additional music by Jim Rome and Gib Sosman. Recorded at John Barleycorn’s in Wichita, Kansas, August 30 in 2008. The Sluggos were opening for Freedy Johnston and The Embarrassment at the “Who Pulled The Plug” reunion performance (that recording and Freedy Johnston’s set are also posted in this collection). Wayne Gottstine on Mandolin/Vocals and Michael Carmody on Guitar/Vocals.


Split Lip Rayfield - Live sets from 1996-97
These are early sets from the Kansas band Split Lip Rayfield, recorded live at The Wichita Center for the Arts during a movie event. The first set from 1996 is as a three piece with the original band, the second as a two piece from 1997.
